We are a creative and fast-growing fashion label based in Amsterdam. We are looking for a driven finance professional who wants to go beyond the numbers. In this role, you will be responsible for financial management while having the unique opportunity to grow within a dynamic and internationally oriented fashion house.

You will work closely with our creative team and gain insight into the full scope of the business. As you grow into the role, there is room to become involved in special projects, including the organization and support of fashion shows in Amsterdam and Paris.

About the role
In this versatile position, you act as the link between finance, suppliers, and operational processes. You ensure that both financial administration and logistical processes run smoothly and efficiently, and you actively contribute ideas for improvement.

At Camiel Fortgens, finance and fashion go hand in hand. You will be part of a small, dedicated team, working from our Amsterdam office in a creative and collaborative environment where ideas move quickly and responsibilities are shared.

Key responsibilities
tasks:

• Managing the full financial administration, including processing and verifying receipts and invoices in our accounting system (Yuki)
• Monitoring and managing cash flow
• Preparing and maintaining budgets
• Planning and executing outgoing payments
• Overseeing incoming payments and accounts receivable
• Identifying opportunities to improve administrative and operational processes
• Collaborating with accountants and external advisors
• Supporting communication with suppliers
• Assisting in coordinating and planning logistical processes
  
  
• Providing financial and strategic insights across wholesale, B2C, and production activities
• Supporting commercial decision-making to drive profitability and sustainable growth
• Identifying opportunities to optimize margins, pricing, and cost structures
• Contributing to revenue growth by aligning financial planning with business strategy

Who we are looking for

• MBO+/HBO level (or equivalent), preferably in finance, administration, or logistics
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Accurate, independent, and responsible
• Experience in a similar role is a plus
• Fluent in Dutch and/or English (written and spoken)
• Experience with accounting software (Yuki), Microsoft Excel, and familiarity with Zedonk and/or ERP production systems is a plus
