SS27

The collection turns garments inside out: exposing construction details usually hidden from view, placing prints on the reverse side of the fabric, keeping linings and facings visible on the outside, and letting handmade elements such as contrast stitching, raw hems and repairs show the acts of making.

The focus is on texture and color, from light pink and forest green to deep burgundy. Different washes, fades and (over)dyes are used to create the impression of colors bleeding into one another, as if a single red sock had accidentally been left in the washing machine.

There are references to farmer’s wear and functional outdoor wear running through the collection, with loose linen trousers and woven straw bags giving a relaxed rural feeling.
